Korean Interest in Sd3 Gaining Momentum

Korean interest in Sd3's range of strategic sustainability products and services is growing following several visits to the Korean capital of Sd3 Directors, Jason Perks, Dave Knight, Dan Holmes and James Anderson.

During one visit Dr Alan Knight Head of Standards at international NGO, AccountAbility joined Jason and James in running a conference on Stakeholder Engagement, Sustainability Assurance and Climate Change Management. This was sponsored by Sd3's partners, BSI Korea, BISD a local sustainability NGO and attended by more than 40 sustainability leaders from the Korean business community.

The conference offered a key opportunity for Sd3 to build on its excellent relationship with BSI Korea, Samsung SDI and BISD. Sd3 later met other large Korean enterprises as well as the Korean Ministry of the Environment to discuss forging strategic partnerships and undertake project work in climate and energy, non-financial reporting, sustainability assurance and other areas of Sd3's expertise. A further highlight of the trip was a presentation at British Embassy's Aston Hall where Sd3 and friends were the guests of the Ambassador in Seoul, Warwick Morris.
