Sd3 Assures Northumbrian Water Group's 2003/2004 Sustainable Development Report for the First Time
For its 'Sustainable Development Performance Report 2003/2004' Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) turned to Sd3 for an independent view of its completeness, materiality and responsiveness.
Our team conducted the assurance by desk-based analysis, discussion
with the client and a combination of on-site and telephone interviews
with a sample of NWG employees responsible for report content or
management of the areas covered in the report. Assessment of the
report was made against the following guidelines and standards:
- UK Government Environmental Reporting Guidelines
- AA1000 Assurance Standard.
In addition, progress was evaluated against information contained in Northumbrian Water's earlier 2002/03 Environment, Society and Economy Performance Report, and to outputs of the Group's stakeholder engagement.
